This elegant glass is inspired by Art Deco. This style started in the 20th century in Europe and spread to the United States through the 30s. This stylized letter 'G' evokes a sense of jazz and the border adds the luxury touch so characteristic of this movement. Different techniques were applied to this glass such as Boston gilding and water gilding, both made with 23ct gold and block shadow which was blended with sponge.
